Mission of a School Library Media Program:
     Creating a foundation for lifelong learning is at the heart of a school library media program.  This program focuses on the process of learning rather than dissemination of information.  It combines effective learning and teaching strategies and activities with information access skills
     The goal is to assist all students in becoming active and creative locators, evaluators, and users of information to solve problems and to satisfy their own curiosity.
